  1. One week into P3 and on my 3rd steak day. I started too quickly this time with increasing calories, I think. So, steak day on Day 3 and slowed it down. Needed another Day 6, now another Day 8. I still am not getting back to my LDW, the lowest I have gotten is to LDW +2.

I'm eating hi protein, no starch/sugar, adding fats like coconut oil, butter and olive oil. I basically eat PB. Yesterday, I had 2 oz homemade pulled pork/no sauce and 2 oz grilled chicken breast on a salad with oil/vinegar for lunch and chicken salad (minimal mayo to make it stick) for dinner with an oz of goat chz and a svg of figs, HWC in coffee for breakfast. That adds to 1050 cal, 32g carbs, 66g fat and 82g protein.

This is not a typical day for me as I usually prepare my own food, but I was on the run yesterday. That is the typical aim for protein/fat/carbs/calories for me, so I felt successful there. I drank all my water and got 8.5 hrs sleep.

Need a game plan! Can you help? Thanks in advance!
  2. in regards to those foods, it depends on how conservative you want to be- some people just jump in and don't worry unless they gain.

to be honest you really can't test sensitivities all that well in P3- you have to eat a LOT of something when you test it, and most people don't eat that much when you start P3. you might do ok with 1 oz of cheese per day but not 3. or you might be ok when you still have a lot of weight to lose (i was) but then not be able to tolerate it once you're at goal. or it might be the calories that cause the gain, if you're eating something calorie-dense like cheese or nuts. experiment and play it by ear.
  3. as long as you're not using more than what is allowed (i think 1 TB per day) it's probably ok- but it does have added sugar- evaporated cane juice.
  4. if you only did 23 days, you can consider your time off as an interruption and jump right back to P2 again to finish out your initial round of 40 days (although i'd recommend you do another 23 rather than the 17). then you could take 6 wks off and do R2. with each round it gets harder, so you want to give yourself plenty of time to stabilize.

if you want to do 30 days rather than 23 you could probably get away with that. but then take your 6 wks off.

yes, with each round your breaks get longer- but he was talking about doing full rounds, so it's sort of a guess when it comes to shorter rounds.
  5. I think pretty well! Today is VLCD4, so 6 days on drops and I am down 6.5#! How about you?
