Well, I have had some hair loss quite a bit from my first round. I lost about 50% of my hair from this diet. So, this round I have bumped up the protein, vitamins/minerals and superfoods so so far its gotten to the point that chunks aren't falling out everyday.

    I don't know if I can take the omega-3's while on P2??

    Have you done that?

No, I'm not on HRT. I was able to keep my ovaries....for now! :-)

Hello. Sorry, I didn't see this until today.

I am in phase two, first round. I am at day 36 of 46.

  5. Ooooh March 19th is almost here ... exciting! I hear you on the snacking L.O.V.E. raw almonds, been munching on pistachios too. For something crunchy I even tried pork rinds!!! They smell simply disgusting, but dipped in a spicy yogurt sauce I make they're great, Even baught two more bags. Bet they'ed be yummy dipped in ranch too ... but anythings yummy dipped in ranch. I could smear cream chz all over myself & be a happy girl, but I've backed way off on the dairy. I think there's a sensitivity there ... Boooooo (abdominal bloating) I have had 1/2C of Fage/yogurt the last two days & I seem to be ok so far, in fact this morning I'm down almost a pound. My brother had a place in Boone County. Where in Arkansas are you?

load for Rd3 begins March 19th. I could start it a few days earlier but I prefer to load on the weekend and then have a week of work for the first VLCD's before I hit another weekend. LOL.... It's damage control at it's finest!
Try some plain unsalted Raw Almonds.... about 7 calories a peice so they are really easy to control. Put 20 in a baggie and leave the rest in the kitchen. I think you'll be surprised how sweet and delicious they are. Celery and plain cream cheese is also a good go too snack if you can do dairy. Seriously... I snack a LOT, almonds, couple of oz of cheddar, bunch of radishes w/home made ranch, stuff like that.

    Hi Shelly,

LDW for me is actually last day of drops. Stabilizing for me is as the manuscript says within 2 over and 2 under and anything within that 4 lb window is acceptable. I do long rounds and So far I have followed the breaks in the manuscript, 6 weeks between RD1 & RD2, 8 weeks Between RD2 and RD3 Which is where I am now. 1st maint I lost 7 lbs. This maint I'm down around 10 - 12 lbs and seem to be staying there. With more to lose I've been told not to worry about the drops between rounds so much so I've come to accept that. P4 for me is pretty much an extended P3... I am in no way interested in starting up the carb/sugar monster craving. Yes the little fluctuations are OK and you ARE stabilized! Wonderfully so! Do yourself a favor and wait the 6 weeks. I know it's hard and you want to start again but it really does help.
  8. they don't always make you gain, but i think they are a big part of the problem for many people who are overweight. you can get the tests done on your own, without a script- but you'd have to pay for it yourself. ellie found a place in england that did it really cheap- i think it was about $100 by the time she shipped her blood sample over there.
  9. probably the biggest concerns in P3 are eggs, dairy and nuts. try avoiding those and see what your weight does.

it's true that the blood tests for food sensitivities (make sure it's a blood test, not a scratch test) are not always accurate- but it at least gives you an idea and something to follow. for foods that grades high you know they are a problem for sure.

No Problem. I imagine that had to be a shocker! Well, just have to straighten up and not go there again. LOL. All I could think was Ouch!!!

I'm even having a hard time writing this. Had a hard time following "housewives of new york" lastnight ... helloooo. This is like being back in the 70's again. H.E.L.P. - exactly what is stabilizing????

Since then I've gone up a couple, and down a couple, up 3 down 3, but never up to the weight I was on the last day of drops. I haven't needed to do a steak day, I just increased my protien and eliminate dairy & eggs and that seems to take care of it. I'm still in the process of figuring out what foods
