    I live in Magnolia, Texas. There is a ski lake in the neighborhood that I live in and people ski, swim etc in it. It looks disgusting..my kids won't use it.

    newtex09 we lived in Texas for about 9 months for my husbands work. We lived in Greenville, just 40 minutes northeast of Dallas. We loved it there, but the work visa ran out and we had to come home, but I agree no nice blue lakes. The lakes around Greenville were kind of murky and they have trees growing out in the middle of them, not sure how anyone would water ski in them, but they say they do.
