I'm a ways away from a "vanity round" . But do keep me posted on how things are going. I'm going to attempt cycling for a couple of rounds. I'm hoping it keeps me motivated so I don't have to stare down 30-40 day rounds. Have a great weekend!

Hi Polly, how have you been? I was pleased to see you still on the forum. I kind of fell off the face of the earth after my lost round - work got crazy, kids schedules got crazy, life got crazy! Looks like you did awesome...congratulations! Hopefully I'll catch you around in some threads (when I get the chance to post ).

    How are the pups?

I only lost .8 on fff, but it was a loss and having the change in tastes and texture was great. I've been continuing with it as meals instead of protein shakes. I screwed up royally and ate two Hebrew National hotdogs after checking for sugars, calories and carbs, but forgot to check the fat content which was sky high. I gained a quarter pound, and hope there are no more lasting consequences. I only have four shots left, and the only reason I'm going to stick with them instead of stopping now so I could eat P3 on my birthday on Sat. is that I'm only half a pound above the 170's, which is my goal this round.

Just a suggestion for when you load again, I stuff myself with fish/flax oil capsules when loading, and eat a few things I'll miss, and don't really gain. Good luck with starting P2 again!

Glad you have somewhere to park at least. Actually, I am doing a short round, and only have 7 shots left, so I am just about to move onto P3! Today I am doing a fat free fage day, which involves eating only 24 - 36 ounces of plain fat-free Greek yogurt. Some folks on my thread have been doing them and having great losses, especially when they stall. I added 6 oz in last night when I was starving and lost .8 today. It was so good to have a new taste and texture that I decided to do a whole day today. Hope I don't bite myself in the buttocks!
  6. You are a sweetheart, I look forward to your recipes. Just a couple of days now.

I have been reading the posts on Procrastinating Pals, found in the Forum under Groups (as opposed to the Groups tab at the top of the page--confusing) and there seems to be 8 to 10 regular posters who started at about the exact same time as we did, and are almost all at the end of P2, transitioning, or into a week or so of P3. They plan to continue together no matter what Phase they are in, and since they are not a P2 forum thread, will continue to get new folks whose schedule matches.

I will post there a few times and see how it goes. Tracie and Tanya are already there, and I see that Kbj has posted there recently. Take a peek.

Thanks again. I will do the oopsie rolls for sure as soon as I am confident about the dairy! I need cheese!!!!!

I'll try this next time. I already made the full savory version last night, let them sit overnight and they did soften up. Ate a tuna sandwich today for lunch...yuuuum. I really like them. And they were pretty darn easy, I have to say. By the time the oven came to temp, my mix was ready to divvy onto silpat-lined cookie sheets and bake. 30 mins baking on the nose.

I'm all about recipes this P3. I have a few ideas when you get into P3, but until then I won't discuss any more P3 food .

Protein...it's what's for dinner, but it doesn't gotta be steak

Dang Dang Dang

I keep saying there is no finish line. and I hate it when I'm right.

Just when I finally thought I had this thing wired with the slight increase of T3--- I am all higgly piggly again. (Or is that Piggly Wiggly? No, that's an old grocery store chain!)

I read that I am supposed to take my T3 split up in 2 to 4 doses a day, and especially need to take one before bed as the body needs T3 the most while you sleep and all the cellular level repairs are in process. I started

Onward!

by PearlyMae on August 6th, 2014 at 06:04 PM
I eat a LOT of chicken. When it comes right down to it, I am close to clucking. I don't mind, though, because I can cook it about 8 million ways and I like them all.

I also eat hamburger, bacon, eggs, an occasional steak, an apple a day, blueberries and strawberries for breakfast, with Full Fat plain yogurt. I enjoy unsalted, raw almonds, pecans and cashews. I eat all salad veggies, and try to get one or two other green veggies in every day. I enjoy plenty of dairy, but mostly use

Singing the chorus over and over...

by PearlyMae on August 6th, 2014 at 06:01 PM
If not for the support of my friends on the threads on this forum, there is no way I would have gotten this far! I have always struggled to keep a lean weight, but for years, that was a cycle of gaining up to 135 and then dieting back to 120. Well, that was in my 20s. To be fair, as I got older, it was getting up to 140 and dieting back to 130, then finally fighting to stay under 150. And then and then and then.... !

Yep, Iíve done it all. Weight Watchers, Diet Center (remember them?

The Right Dance Music, II

I had success taking T3 at last. Down a pound the first week back in my LIW 2 pound Window.

Another two weeks and I lost that 2 pounds and finally hit LIW for the first time in three months of struggling. I did not have an instant heart attack and felt fine. No shortness of breath, no pounding heart. One pound a week is not exactly rocket to Mars speed...though it was better than the 1 pound a month that I lost doing low calorie, low fat, low food dieting originally.
