Well, I lost the 1.4 I gained because of my cheat, and a pound more to boot. Thank goodness! After 10 days, loss of 15 pounds. Today was difficult because I had to go out of town to judge a contest. I really don't have the ability to take food with me (I was going to be in a courthouse for hours on end, with no fridge or anything), so I took along a couple of low-fat protein bars for meals. Still on track (+0.8)

Slight gain again today, but I expected that with the cheating on Monday. I figured I'd have 3 bad days and then everything will right itself again. Hard to believe that a "little" cheat could turn into three lost days. But it did. That's okay. I deserve that little penalty. But I'm not cheating again. I've stayed right on track since I recovered on Monday, so that's 2 1/2 days back on track. Maybe I'll show a loss tomorrow. But if not, I'm not going to let it get me down. I

Screwed up (+.6)

Bad day yesterday. I cheated at lunch. But got right back on the wagon. That's the time I usually beat myself up. Not beating myself up this time. It happened. I dealt. It's over. Day 7 (-1.4)

This has been the hardest day so far. My son and his fiancee came into town and asked me to go to lunch with them. I chose Ruby Tuesday b/c I knew they had steamed broccoli (not on the protocol, but the closest thing I could find). Had half a petite sirloin - 3.5 oz (gave the other half to son) and ate the broccoli. And unsweetened tea. Figured that was good.

Day 6 (-.8)

Another loss. Much smaller today -- only .8, for a total of 12.6 pounds gone in 5 days. I knew the weight loss would have to slow down (otherwise, it probably wouldn't be healthy), so I'm happy with the .8. I have SO much to lose that it has always been so frustrating. Dieting and dieting only to lose .5 pound in a week. Just made me want to say, oh well, I'm fat and I'll be a happy fat woman. But I haven't been happy.
