  1. Down .4 eating high, high fat, moderate protein and low carbs using the ratios: 1:2.5:.8, protein, fat, carbs, respectively. So now going to switch my losses into high gear for the next couple weeks. Starting tomorrow as I already have my food planned for the day which fits the 1:2.5:.8 ratio. In the past five days my losses were are just shy of 3 lbs which is about what I was getting on VLCD (after inital water loss). I am eating much more food, much more satisfying and I can exercise without concern for dizziness or passing out. Also, I am not injecting something off the internet into my body. I am not trying to "dog" hcg, but I am trying to find the truth about weight loss, health (mental and physical) and what really works as a lifestyle. I am excited...there a few others using the reduced ratios approach and losing over 1 lb a day. Let the fun begin!
  2. Hi Marsha! Awesome, yes we do have a lot in common! Keep in touch...what's working, not working, etc. I think it is so great to have such a good support system...and so much feedback :-) I love it!

    Hi! We have a lot in common. I am in AZ also, 5'7" and my starting weight was 187. I also hope to get down to 135 lbs.

6/27/2011 Monday - OD Update

I went off track a bit with carbs again this weekend and to my surprise (the net loss/gain over the weekend was "0") no gain and TOM started yesterday. I was up a couple lbs sat am (before I ate my carbs - must have been TOM on it's way). I didn't weigh yesterday as I ate the carbs Sat evening and also on Sunday. I was a little fearful to be honest. This morning I weighed the same as I did last Thursday.

6/22/2011 - OD only

I crumbled and decided to weigh yesterday. My gain over the weekend as of yesterday was only .4. I am astonished by that quite honestly. I am up in the air on daily weigh in's....we'll see how I feel each day. I may or I may not...LOL

Today's weigh in was a nice surprise down -1.8 yay!! I ate until I was content and I lost 1.8 lbs. I am overly happy about that.

Yesterday's OD Ratios

Fat: 86
Protein: 39
Carbs: 61
Cal: 1159

6/20/2011 OD only - stopped HCG

I stopped HCG injections last week (thurs was last inj) as I was feeling irritable and having sleep disturbances. My sleep went back to normal the day I stopped injections. I felt a bit bummed out on Friday about the whole diet thing. I thought I would try to eat less fats...that was not a goof idea. I fell off the wagon Friday evening until Saturday evening. No binging, but much higher carbs than normal - had pizza for dinner, english muffin at breakfast and a slice of bread at lunch...I know normal

Down .2 - still haven't gotten my ratios where they need to be for rapid weight loss...sigh!
Having small sleep disturbance over the last few days and the only thing new is the injections. That concerns me as how the HCG may be affecting my hormones. I'll have to put some thought to it. Part of me says stop injections and just do modified OD - no HCG. I am not sure yet. I have overcome some serious hormonal issues and I don't want to go backwards by any means. A little confused today :-(

Didn't have time to post yesterday. I am down .6 . The first few days were not very well planned and my ratios are off. (I ate out one day so I am not sure my numbers are accurate for day 2). It is a big adjustment taking my ratios back down. I want to keep calories around 800-900...I still have some tweaking to do.

Day 2 Ratios: I ate out and had to guess on some of the protein/carbs so I don't know how accurate this was.
Calories: 1030
Fat: 68
