About rhythmicessence
I'm a 23 year old Taurean bookworm/gym rat. I've done a lot of reading on various subjects. And I've read the protocol from top to bottom.

I have a son and he's the most beautiful person in existence. And he can squat and do push-ups perfectly- makes a mother proud. <3

I love helping others. I've done many rounds of HCG with varying results. I did a lot of experimenting and tweaking for optimal fitness. I don't count those rounds. I count one I did earlier in the year (around March), in which I went from 180-160 in 14 days... After that I cheated but ended the round at 24 days at 160 regardless. And I'm counting my current round. I started January 2nd, 2014 and I'm thinking that I might make this a 24 day round. I don't have much to lose.

I feel like it's important to also mention that I'm very rouge. I eat breakfast most days. It consists of 30g of protein in the form of egg whites and then I have two additional servings of protein. One with right around 30g of protein and after a workout I'll have at least 52g of protein, 30 if I haven't worked out for the day or don't plan to. ALSO, I indulge in coconut oil and macadamia nuts. I find that both help me along on my rounds. I might turn this round into another experimentation round, if I do, it'll be exercise tweaking more than anything. We shall see!

Here are some things I've learned along the way and find to be true:
1.) Immunity does not exist.
2.) Working out on HCG should be recommended, lifting weights at the very least. If you don't use it, you lose it.
3.) Most people need more protein than they eat while on this protocol. My requirements are anywhere from 80-140g/ daily to maintain muscle.
4.) Coconut oil doesn't have adverse effects and is completely fine in P2 and especially in P3.
5.) HCG doesn't lose a significant amount of potency in as much as 60 days or better after constitution, buying 2000ius and mixing a bunch of times is completely unnecessary.
6.) Paying attention to your macro nutrients+ getting enough water in is the most important part of P3.
7.) There's more to come, but that's all for now.

More about my background with HCG: I tried homeopathic HCG and I'm glad I stopped when I did... That stuff is no good for you. I was first introduced to HCG back in 2010. I did a 14 day round and started having gallbladder issues. That round was with homepathic HCG. I had my gallbladder removed later on. MONTHS later. I was ridiculous and avoiding going to the doctor even though I was in excruciating pain most days.

When I first started my weight loss journey, I weighed 214 lbs... HCG helped me get to 196 in 14ish days. After that I went from 196-165 with dieting alone[all in 50 days(214-165)]. This was back in 2010... I'm not sure of my diet back then. I was always really intuitive with it all though. Looking back I'd say that my diet was 50%protein, 40% carbs, and 10% fat on most days. I'm lying.. I ate whatever I wanted and it ended up being a split between everything... What the heck kind of macros that was... IDK... I loaded my baked potatoes with butter some days... some days I didn't... OK, so maybe half the time it was 50/40/10 and some days it was 40/40/20<--- lots of bodybuilders use this ratio... But I wasn't working out. ::shrugs::

After about 6 months of a new bf that loved to feed me, and a love of the food he treated me to, I ballooned to 180(2012-2013). That's when I decided to use HCG to lose what I had gained. I did amazingly well with having lost 20 lbs in just 14 days and ending the round at 160 in just 24 days. I maintained that throughout 2013 for the most part and experimented with HCG for somewhere around 3 months( I was in a mastery phase- and with all the conflicting advice out there, I wanted to break down the science and understand everything completely). I accomplished this goal and have helped others lose weight and gain muscle with HCG, as well as myself :D.

I'm super excited about this round!

** I'm intense when it comes to muscle sparing. While lots of people seem to think that you just get your muscle back after losing it, in reality, muscle is easier to lose than it is to build and maintain. Don't neglect your fitness for faster scale changes... That isn't healthy, nor is it a part of the end goal for MOST people.**
Painting, writing, composing music, horseback riding, exercising, and just being myself. =]

Strengthen your resolve and there is nothing you can't achieve.

NOTE: I am pro rouge. If I ate only 100g of protein at each meal, my muscles would roll their eyes. And my advice comes from personal experience and the experience of others I've helped along the way. ALSO, I'm a total gym rat and love designing routines for myself and others. If you need help in that department, I'm your girl. ;]

I overindulged!

by rhythmicessence on January 8th, 2014 at 02:12 PM
So, I overindulged in macadamia nuts yesterday!

What had happened was:

I went over to a friends house late at night after only having had one meal for the entire day and going into work early. The worst part of yesterday was that I planned on just eating after I left there, not putting into account that I might be hungry sooner than that. Haha. It had been 12 hours since I last had any food for the day so I ran to my local Wally World and bought a little container
