Hey again! I am interested in you extending your round. If you don't mind I would love to know your thoughts on that. I am kind of tempted to do the same if I dont hit the number I want by the planned round.

Hey there! I read your blog and felt bad for you. It's hard to have such a frustrating experience!! I just had to say, I think you've done well! I'm on VLCD32 today and I've only lost 20lbs. My average is .58lb/day....Not sure what your stats are, but I think you're doing pretty good! Hang in there!

Thanks for the check in. So far, so good. Today is my last VLCD and I am ready to start eating tomorrow. I have recipes for crustless mini-quiches, flour-less flatbread and even PECAN SANDIES (made with almond flour and stevia).

I have lost 2 pounds in the last 2 days on the VLCD. That means I have a few pounds to play with once I start eating.

Hang in there, sister! Soon it will be your turn.

Oh I understand the BM issues. I double bagged a cup of smooth move and it helped but with a few mins of cramping. as a matter of fact it kept on working all the next day. LEt me know what works for you.
  7. Anytime girl! Sounds like it was the perfect time to go to P3, I'm so happy for you and I'll see you in the next round!

Thanks so much for the hugs and support. I am excited about starting P3 and I, too, believe it was a God moment. More good news, I will be able to take my daughter out to dinner for her birthday next Tuesday. I was feeling guilty about not being able to do anything for her 18th B-day.

Also, my friend in throwing me a Bon Voyage party in May. If I had waited to start P3 as planned, I would not have been able to eat the cake she is baking for the party. Funny how things happen the way they should.
  9. Troya you are so sweet! Congrats again on your very, most awesomeness day!!

About SBerkeland
Sometime between my mid-20s and turning 30 I gained about 45lbs. After trying the old mantra: exercise and watch everything that I eat, I'm ready to try something to jerk my body out of this craziness! Super excited to get this going, and get this support here that I'll need along the way!

When the weekend is a little too rough . . .

by SBerkeland on July 11th, 2011 at 06:48 AM

I have no idea where I am, LOL . Everything is pretty successful, never been over 2lbs above LDW, and consistently am set in the 155-158range. I'm not sure if it's TOM or that I didn't eat enough protein this weekend (realllllllly enjoyed myself), but I'm not feeling healthy today. I had a pretty hectic last two weeks, and had meant to be blogging through P3 this time, but sadly life just took over! And then a wake up call, the scale went to 159 this morning, outside of my

Same today as yesterday

by SBerkeland on July 1st, 2011 at 06:07 AM

I'm 2.4 below LDW, and the same weight today as I was yesterday. I really didn't eat very differently, probably ate more almonds than I did the day before, but that's okay. If this is where I stabilize I will be very very very very happy!! . Last round I stabilized about 1.4 above ldw, so it's always nice to be under!

Today I am wearing a pair of khaki pants I bought from Victoria's Secret about three years ago. They look fantastic!! I haven't worn Khaki in so

Having a good day, stomach stretching at the beginning of P3

by SBerkeland on June 30th, 2011 at 06:36 AM

Woke up to a .2-.6loss. P3 is so funny because the weight fluctuates SO much that a .6loss in the morning can be a 1lb gain later in the day. It makes me happy to know that I ended my P2 at the high end of the 155-158 range that my body apparently wants to be at so I can add things back in without going too high above LDW.

I am hesitant to write what I ate, but if I don't write it I can't track it - I think that was a downfall of my last P3/P4... So I will preface

First day of P3

by SBerkeland on June 29th, 2011 at 06:36 AM

I woke up this morning to a 2.2lb loss. No, I didn't eat Simeon's Protocol, not even close, but I did have mostly protein which was nice and the perfect ending to P2. Still in that 155-158lb range, which seriously is cracking me up. I am going to return to my P8 probiotics, but I think I'm going to tone it down at first and see if I only need like three capsules a day, one for each meal. Still going to continue the Mag Citrate for a while, but I also want to see if I can ween

Last day :)

Starting VLCD23

This morning I am taking my last dose of drops!!!! I am so stinking excited! I woke up this morning to no loss, my body is so happy in this 155-158 range that it is almost comical. I had a bit of mac and cheese last night, so yeah there could have been a loss but I'm just not worried about it. I just have to say again how much I love the 24hrs instead of 72hrs with Rx . It should be a pretty easy day, lots of work and homework to do, and tomorrow I'm going to get
