  1. I'm on day 15. I guess I'm on protocol. What is rogue? I was loosing so well. I lost 17 lbs. in 11 days and I was so excited and now I've been stuck for 5 days. I wasn't worried at first cuz I've read that everyone hits plateaus, but it's been 5 days and now I'm getting worried that it's gonna be like everything else was. You loose weight and get so excited to see the scale go down and then all of a sudden for no reason at all it just stops. I really want to keep going. PLEASE let this pass!!! So it is ok for me to do a protein day in phase 2.

    I am down -7.8. I did a few no no things. I had extra Melba toast last night which i am sure is why I gained .3 and then the other times were eating beef too many times in a row I think. I hope we keep loosing!

    Hi Sci, Don't worry about the erroneous message. You already told me you were doing cycling. I'm sort of going to do it too, only a bit differently. I have a wedding to go to on May 6 and a memorial service with a "feed" afterwards the next day, so I will use those as load days. I am not going to do P4, I know I will have issues with starches and sugars, so I will not move to P4 until I've met my ultimate goal. That will mean that I'm going to do P3 for 4 weeks and 1 day this time. Then it makes sense to me to do a 30 day round of hcg because my losses definitely slowed up by that time and the HCG I ordered is in vials that are good for 15 days at a time after mixing. With shipping and all, it's expensive, so why waste 5 days worth doing a 40 day round? (Just call me Frugal Girl!) I'm a little afraid to do only 2 weeks of P3, so I will be following you avidly. I know you will keep us all faithfully up to date.

    Hey there. Thanks for checking in. I guess blogging doesn't seem as exciting when I'm not losing every day like on P2! But I'm doing pretty well. I'm actually doing my first steak day today in P3...I think I'm on Day 11. My husband and I had a date yesterday and went to the Top Chef Tour, so I had some non-P3 food...I knew the scale would be up a bit today and it was, but I'm confident the steak day will get me back on track. I'm actually excited to see what happens tomorrow on the scale. How's P3 going for you?

    Hi Sci, Where in RI are you? I used to do art festivals in Newport years ago (I was by the Creamery). And then I did the Wickford art festival for years. I used to stay in the home of a wonderful English expat named Audrey when I was there.

    Thanks! I decided it was time to show my face. The mini return to P2 went well. Of course, I had the unfortunate run-in with some pizza crust mid-way through, but I still lost 9 pounds and met my original goal in 2 weeks, so it was worth it to me! I also went down another size...yippeeee! Have you decided what you are going to do? I'm on P3/D4 now, and so far so good...no need for correction days just yet.

    I didn't do a protein day. I was too upset. So yesterday I had, in this order: 1 apple, chicken, wasa cracker, 3 scrambled egg whites, (no veggies), another wasa crackers and a Cali Kicker. Woke up to a 0.8 loss. I am 173.0.

    How'd it go for you?

    Okay ! I'll do it tomorrow as well. Which means lots of cooking tonight. Friday morning we had better see some significant loss on the scale gosh darn it!

Week One Loss: 12.3 pounds..woohoo!
Week Two Loss: 2 pounds...boooo!!!!!

That pretty much sums up last week for me. I only lost two pounds because I cheated twice, was completely stressed out, and almost quit half a dozen times. It amazes me how the very first time I tried hcg, I did it for 40 days, then cycled off for 2 weeks, and then back on for another 21 days. Now I can't even go through a week without struggling. Today was supposed to be my first official weigh-in, but I weighed yesterday as well because I tried miracle noodles for the first time. Anywho, glad I weighed both days because I got to see a 2 pound loss this morning! Very excited, and no idea how that happened! But I'll take it

Weekends have always been really hard for me, cravings, desire to snack for no reason. But I've tried to stay busy and I must say, being on rx injections instead of drops seems to have made all the difference.

VLCD6- Miracle Noodle Update

I finally tried the miracle noodles last night and to my surprise, still lost (0.8). DH lost 1.5 of course, but good news is we both lost. I ate about 1/3 and he ate 2/3 of the package. Yes, they smelled very fishy when opening (and I HATE seafood), but I just rinsed them really well, patted them dry, then threw them in a frying pan and dry-fried them. Both of us then mixed with pre-cooked onions and chicken. I then added chicken broth and braggs with a few spices to mine. DH added P2 friendly

What a whirlwind of a week it's been, and not in a good way! I have no clue how I did it, but I hurt my back on Wednesday. It got really stiff at work and I was in a lot of pain. So I left early, and have been in bed ever since! I have a couple of bulging discs that will be around forever, and they just act up every now and then. So meds and bed rest it is. As I have mentioned before, after reading WLA, I'm only going to weigh myself once a week. I must admit, it isn't easy! Today would have been the first drop on the scale, a large one of course, so my instinct was to hop on the scale this morning and be overwhelmed with joy.
