    My 15 year old is really working hard to lose weight the old-fashioned way and I am trying to encourage her by "dieting" with her (it looks a lot like P3), but honestly, these forums have brain-washed me into thinking that there is no other way to lose weight. She is looking better every week, but she gets frustrated that she doesn't lose faster. And I keep expecting her to lose faster!
    I was curious what curriculum you are using. You did say once that you homeschool, right?

    So, you are doing another round? I think I may end up there in the fall if my trend continues. I seem to be going up a pound every week. I have not seen my LDW one time since P3/P4 and I raised it 1.5 when I got to P4 and since I finished P4 I haven't seen that LDW! If I raise it again, I am afraid the trend will just keep going. I just don't know if HCG messed me up as much as any other diet! I seemed to stabilize better after my last two rounds, so I figure either I went into P3 too quickly, or I am at goal and I went lower than my body wants, or HCG just messed me up! I also wonder if I should have done a longer round... if you stabilize better after rounds of more than 40 days. Anyway, I am just frustrated. (To Be Continued)

    Thanks, Shelly! It is quite a process, isn't it? I am now working on not obsessing... I lost more than I ever expected and I am having a hard time holding it. I like the way I look and I always said I would be content heavier than I am now, but, sadly, enough is never enough! So, I am being challenged and learning important lessons now that I hope I can pass on to all my girls so they don't obsess as well. I have been looking for you in the threads. How are you doing?

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I would LOVE to have your recipes. [email protected] I do think that adding eggs and cheese in the same day might have been my problem... and the fact that it is the weekend and I am making yummy things for my family all three days! Tomorrow should be better. School routine and getting out of the kitchen. I appreciate you!

    You are doing so great with P3! How are you keeping your weight so even? Are you only eating P2 doubled? Have you added back in nuts or anything like that? I can't wait to have nuts so I keep sneaking a few almonds here and some natural peanut butter there. Two days of this (the first two days of P3) and I find myself up almost 2 pounds. Do you think that if I cut them out from now until the end of the week I will go back down, or should I do a steak day? I appreciate your input!

    So, you are saying that if I exercise during P3-P4 it will be harder to tell what is maintaining my weight by what I am eating. I get that. I really want to exercise, but I may wait, too. I think I may have to adjust my final goal weight. My drops will be gone in about a day and I am only going down .2 every day now, so I think I will have to be content. I am happy with how I look, I just wanted that buffer :-)
  9. I am choosing to stabilize without exercise first so that when I do exercise it is a benefit to my body, not something that it requires to maintain my new weight. Since the 3-6wks after hcg are about refreshing your metabolism and learning to stabilize while FEEDING your body, I would rather let my metabolism do the work it should have been doing this whole time. I can't afford to retrain it to require exercise for maintenance. Does this make sense?

    So, tell me why you are not going to exercise in P3. I completely know what you are saying about wanting to get on with the exercise. I think I have lost enough, but I figured I would finish the bottle and maybe have some buffer. I can't wait to start toning, but I thought I would start right away. How many rounds have you done? I started last April and have only exercised twice and those times were in the summer. I basically maintained all fall without any exercise, but I feel like things shifted into places I didn't like. Thanks for your input!
