Biography:

Mom of two grown daughters and married to a wonderful man. I will become an empty nester next fall and having bitter-sweet feelings. I am an Architectural Designer/Architect and absolutely love what I do! I used to run in charity runs before I had surgery on my stomach (many problems) which caused running to be placed on hold. Therefore I gained weight. And then my father, who was my fortress, passed away and my first daughter left home for college and I gained the rest of the weight through depression. It has been a long road (10 yrs) and I have many friends who have stuck by me and accepted me as I am. I know that I am a person who can be hurt easily and therefore no one confronts me about my weight issue. So, I have a plan now to make my life all it can be while I am on this earth and its starts with me and only me. I will win this battle with weight and I will win this year!
