Debating?

by Smashie on March 19th, 2011 at 01:50 PM
Ok, today is my VLCD18 and I have lost 12 lbs to date .. TOM going on now. I planned on doing 40 day round for my first round, but since the 23 day is around the corner, I am wondering if it would be best if I should stop at the normal round, or keep going for the 40 days. Meaning, I feel FANTASTIC..no hunger , virtually no cravings and I know I could easily do the long round. But I am wondering if its best my body so it doesn't become immune to the hcg, and if I will have a better chance of losing

One week down! Whoohoo!!

by Smashie on March 10th, 2011 at 09:27 AM
I am down another pound this morning making it a total of 7.6 pounds for my 1st week! Not too shabby, if I don't say so myself! I cannot believe how many great women are on this forum, helping me stay positive and keeping me focused. You will never know how much you've helped me. Every time I feel a weak moment, I pull strength from one or many of you ladies. I am forever in gratitude.

I made some amazing dish last night that was very pleasing to the palate. I diced up vine ripe

Dog's tell it like it is.

by Smashie on March 9th, 2011 at 09:24 AM
So, I have come to the conclusion that Phase 2 sucks and I'm just going to have to be a big girl, tough it out, and stop whining about it. It really smacked me in the face when I was eating my dinner last night and realized that the dogs didn't even have interest in begging for my food. I have never seen them do that their whole lives....so yeah..it's pretty bad when even the dogs don't want any. I am down .6 today, and I am going to get out of the house and go thrifting. That always cheers me up!

What a surprise!

by Smashie on March 7th, 2011 at 08:32 AM
So last night I reach in my closet to throw a pair of jeans on, (Mind you, I have several jeans that are too small on me but I am saving them for when I can fit back into them) I grab a pair thinking it was one of my newer jeans that I barely fit into but squeeze my butt in, and suck my gut in. But to my surprise, I grabbed a pair of the smaller ones on accident (I didn't realize until AFTER I had put them on) and they fit! No squeezing or sucking needed! Today is day 4 of VLCD, and I am down a
