Things that make you go "hmmmmm"

Week three complete, MD visit was great, down another 4.8 pounds, total of 16.6 so far. As of today, I have 20 days left of injections, 23 left of the VLCD. Hunger is still under control and after having abandoned the walden farms dressings, the weight is much more steadily dropping. My physician said they should be fine, but my losses were minimal on them so I dropped them and are doing great.

I've lost weight before, but its been a while since I've experienced an eyebrow lifting

VLCD Week Two, Cruising

Week 1, down 6.0, week 2, down 5.8...I'll take it! Have settled into a routine, the hunger is manageable and the weight is dropping (and from the right places). So far, the easiest way I've found to stay on plan is to ensure you have protein ready at a moments notice. On weekends when plans just pop up, I can quickly have some protein and a salad and not worry about either about not having something cooked or risk going out and getting off-plan. On the weekends I prepare lunches and dinners

Time to do it right!

Two and a half years ago I did the protocol using gel and was very successful. I lost 25# in a month. I kept that off and an additional 25# on my own after that. I quit smoking in December 2012 and it all caved in after that. I put on 15-20 pounds and felt like crap. I was glad the quitting smoking took hold, but was not happy about all the weight gain. So I am going to do the protocol again, but this time I am under a weekly visit to a very knowledgeable physician who is really going to help
