What helps me is to try to look at every P2 meal I eat as if it were a prescription. A medical prescription that is going to make this work to make me well. If I can keep that perspective in mind, going through the process is much easier for me.

My secret to feeling full is making a soup for my dinner: ground chicken, grape tomatoes, water, garlic powder, cumin, chipotle chili powder, oregano and a bit of salt. It makes a big bowlful of "chili" and really satisfies me. I sometimes cook my lettuce in a skillet right after I wash it; the water braises it.
