Online Weight Loss Programs: Which One is Right for You?
I don’t know about you, but I am extremely particular when it comes to committing to a weight loss program. It has to be a healthy approach, have scientific evidence that it works, and include strategies that work with my interests and lifestyle.
This isn’t always easy to find in an online program, and to be honest, I have yet to find one that includes everything I’d like to share with my readers. This is why I’m creating my own “psychology of weight loss” program (if you are interested, you can join my newsletter here for updates.)
I have however, found a number of programs and products that have a lot to offer. Combining science-based research with proven weight loss strategies- these options are some excellent solutions for timely weight loss and improved health.

Tips for Selecting the Right Weight Loss Program…
Choose what comes easiest to you.
It’s important to choose a plan that works on your terms, and what is simple for you… at least until your weight loss is on a roll.
This means, selecting a plan that works with your eating preferences, schedule, family circumstances, etc.
- Do you like to snack? A plan that incorporates several small meals a day may be a good option for you.
- Do you work 80 hours a week with no time or interest in cooking? Healthy meal delivery baby!
- Have kids? Vegan may be challenging at this time.
- Is emotional eating an issue? A mindful program would be a great place to start.
Choose options that present the least amount of resistance at the start. Once you have lost a good amount of weight, you can consider taking on more challenging strategies, which will help you to grow in your new life as a health-minded individual..
Tip # TWO
Journal.
One of the best gifts a weight loss journey can give you, is really getting to know yourself, your health habits and goals.
Journaling is an excellent way to get in touch with these insights.
Pay close attention to habits, and triggers to identify challenges. You can then plan ahead to avoid, or integrate these into the healthy lifestyle you are adapting to.
Tip # Three
Focus on your health, rather than weight loss.
Our minds are a powerful tool. What we focus on, our body will follow.
We tend to focus on weight loss, but the truth is, we really want to feel happy in and with our body’s. Being thin and fit is only one aspect of this goal.
So what really makes us happy? Progress.
Progress brings a feeling of accomplishment and joy. Luckiily, when we focus on our health and take steps to improve this, we can begin to experience joy and satisfaction long before we reach our weight loss goals.
In the meantime, we are reaping all the benefits of health improvemetns each and every day; benefits we dtend not to give much tho thought to unless we are experienccing challenges in that area of our health.
Focus on increasing your energy. Having glowing skin. A healthy heart and organs. Fantastic circulation. Even solving a few health challenges you may be struggling with- which can often be handled with a few suppplements or food changes.
This progress can be felt within 3 healthy choices/actions… the motivation you feel from this will keep you going as long as you focus on it and take time to appreciate what you are doing for yourself.
